Hello GFA community!
I am an American, recently relocated to Shanghai after working in Japan for several years. I am starting up a company in the FTZ, looking to import products from United States and Japan into China for ecommerce sales, or wholesale B2B to offline retailers. My question is: Do I need to have a physical space for storing imported goods in the Shanghai FTZ? Through registration we have a virtual address, but no physical space… But now that we are registered, the representative is saying we must pay for a physical space in FTZ in order to import anything. Have been getting mixed information about this, so hoping to connect with someone doing this already who I can speak with, maybe work with going forward.
Thank you!
